This job aid is directed towards new writing mentors on youngwritersproject.org–an online writing community for young people that I help to manage. This piece is part of a larger orientation course that also deals with the soft skills involved in providing feedback to our young writers. We invite our mentors to check out these online resources before they get started, or during their time mentoring. This aid is useful for helping mentors remember some of the more technical details of leaving feedback for our writers.
