Inbound Marketing Book
By Tom Poland

As the title implies, this is a straightforward book on Inbound Marketing. Poland does a great job of explaining what inbound marketing is, directly. As stated on the cover, this book provides you with a system to generate leads, consistently. This isn’t a book “about” inbound marketing—it is a book that shows you how to accomplish inbound marketing. Less theory, more practice.

This book is especially great for folks who are marketing a service, SaaS, or a high-ticket course or program. It focuses on how to use your expertise and knowledge to leverage different channels and create a constant flow of qualified leads, via inbound marketing.

Inbound Marketing for Dummies
By Scott Miller

Inbound Marketing for Dummies does a great job of boiling the subject down so that it’s easy to understand, while still providing enough information to make it applicable to a variety of industries. This is a great book to get started in the field, learn the lingo, and start thinking about how to apply it to your given situation.

While this book provides a great overview of inbound marketing, it is a bit too broad. I suggest starting out with this book, and moving on to more industry-specific publications once you understand the basics.
